CAMBRIDGE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT ENROLLMENT CONTRACT FOR THE 2023-24 SCHOOL YEAR

1. By signing this enrollment agreement with Cambridge High School, I acknowledge that I am responsible for paying the full tuition, additional fees, and any other charges incurred by or on behalf of the student as per the fee schedule. Please note that no refunds or cancellations of tuition and fees will be made under any circumstances, including unforeseen circumstances.

I understand that if the current tuition and/or other fees are in arrears, Cambridge High School may refuse to release documents to the student. Additionally, if the current tuition and/or other fees are overdue, Cambridge High School may refuse to renew the contract for the student.

2.1 The CONTRACTOR has posted the contract on their website (http://chschool.eu), (hereinafter referred to as the contract website), but this does not mean that they are obliged to enter into a contract with every visitor to the site. The purpose of placing the CONTRACT on the website is to provide information to the CUSTOMER regarding the terms and conditions of paid educational services for secondary general education (hereinafter - educational services), which are provided by the CONTRACTOR. This information is specified in the CONTRACT, the Articles of Association of the CONTRACTOR, and local legal acts (LNA) of the CONTRACTOR (hereinafter - LNA of the CONTRACT).

2.2 To accept the terms and conditions of the Contract, the CUSTOMER must fill out an Application to join the Contract (hereinafter referred to as the Application). The Application can be signed by the CUSTOMER by clicking the "Make Application" button in the corresponding field of the web form.

3. The Cambridge High School issues invoices for tuition fees on a monthly basis, from September to June, which must be paid by the 5th day of each month in accordance with the Price List. Invoices for other charges are also billed monthly, and the payment for them is due within 10 days. Late payment of tuition or other fees will attract a late payment interest rate of 1% per month (12% per annum) on the unpaid balance. In case of late payment, Cambridge High School reserves the right to refuse admission to classes, participation in creative, athletic, and other extracurricular activities, and/or to prepare parent reports and/or transcripts for other schools or colleges as permitted by law. Additionally, the account may be referred to a debt collection agency or attorney, in which case the signer is liable for all costs and expenses incurred by Cambridge High School to collect the outstanding debt, including attorney's fees. By signing this agreement, I agree to pay all the costs of Cambridge High School to enforce the collection of outstanding tuition, fees, and related expenses, including, without limitation, attorney's fees and costs, to the extent permitted by law.

4.Cambridge High School has certain requirements that need to be met for enrollment. These requirements include presenting a birth certificate, a student's personal statement, and a medical certificate. If a student is transferring, a mid-year progress report is also required.

5. By enrolling a student, I agree to follow all the rules, regulations, and requirements of Cambridge High School as adopted from time to time. Additionally, I agree to abide by the expectations set forth in the CHS Policies.

6. By enrolling my child, I also give consent to the taking of photographs and videos of your child. The resulting materials may be used for the benefit of Cambridge High School.

7. I acknowledge that in order for Cambridge High School to operate effectively, it is important to maintain a positive relationship between the school, the student, and their parents/guardians. Positive relationships are built on mutual trust, respect, and cooperation. The school reserves the right to expel any student who displays unacceptable behavior or lack of cooperation, or whose parents/guardians are no longer willing to maintain a cooperative relationship with the school. This decision will be made at the discretion of the Principal

8. I acknowledge and agree that if any part of the Cambridge High School campus is closed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Cambridge High School, such as an epidemic, pandemic, extreme weather, natural or man-made disasters, acts or threatened acts of terrorism or war, or other force majeure, Cambridge High School may opt for alternative methods of instruction, including but not limited to distance learning. Moreover, Cambridge High School may modify its academic and/or athletic programs and curriculum as necessary and at its discretion to ensure the best interest of the Cambridge High School community. However, in such an event, Cambridge High School shall not refund or waive any part of the annual tuition and fees.

9. If any provision of this Contract is invalid, illegal, or incapable of being enforced by reason of any rule of law, administrative order, judicial decision, or public policy, all other conditions and provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

10. This contract is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Any legal action relating to this contract, such as enforcing or interpreting its terms, must be brought in a court that has the authority to hear such cases in either Suffolk or Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
